Chamber retrofit on Comexi FW 1508

Another successful retrofit done! This time on a Comexi FW1508 – 8 color

One of our customers had problems with leaking chambers and had to run the press at lower speeds to maintain print quality.

We installed one chamber together with our pumps first as we normally do for an 8-color retrofit so the customer can get used to their new FlexoArt system but also if we would need to make any tweaks before we equip the other decks with new chambers.

During this period the customer also realized the benefits of our ink handling opted for this with the remaining decks.

During 3 days the remaining decks were retrofitted, operators trained and a first run of production completed. Shortly thereafter the operator is running the press at 300m/min and they could estimate their ROI in one year.
